Colorful, Playful and Graspable Notes for Music Education
"Sound Drops" is a colorful, playful and tangible toy for music education. You can grasp and relocate the tangible notes to make and play your own music intuitively. Their is no digital, unintuitive interface for children. Supported by non-contact detection of notes by cameras and hidden computation, all the interface for children become analog, physical and intuitive. This physical experiences enhanced by digital processing helps children make their music and play with the notes intuitively.
にぎれる音符であそびながら作曲と演奏に親しむ、ちょっと未来のデジタルおもちゃです。
子どもたちが握りやすい「たまご型の音符」を手でつかんで、おおきな五線譜の上に直感的に配置していきます。作曲した「楽譜」は、画像認識によってリアルタイムに演奏をして曲の雰囲気を確かめることができます。
上に置くほど高い音、下に置くほど低い音。右に置くほど後の音、左に置くほど先の音。音楽の基本ルールを楽しく学ぶことができます。
赤色はピアノ、黄色はトランペット、というように色によって音色をかえて合奏を楽しむこともできます。
